I was going to go with what I’ve called the “Lyrical” theme music for our Intro, but have decided instead to use a piece of squeezebox and cello which I’m calling the “Jaunty” theme. This is a swipe at that horrible shortbread-tin accordion stuff that makes you want to stick red-hot pokers in your ears. Tourists may (unfortunately) associate this with Scotland. It is aiming for a mood of faux jollity, before the horror starts…
